Deglet Noor dates are drier and have less sugar compared to Mazafati dates that are being produced in Iran. Note that the low sugar and dryness is related to the type of this crop and is not related to cultivation and environmental conditions.

Conclusion
The head of the National Date Association of Iran stated: Tunisia is ranked seventh in the world in terms of date production, but is ranked first in the world in terms of productivity value, which in this regard can be a good model for our country.
Rashid Farokhi further pointed out:
In fact, the Tunisian government provided unwavering support to producers and traders for 10 to 12 years, Even when they did not have significant production, the officials of this country started the marketing process, especially as an exhibition to sell the dates produced by their farmers, who, by gaining experience from these exhibitions, were able to produce dates that are almost the first in the world.
For this reason, it can be said with certainty that the government of this African country had a heavy budget for this product for 12 years.
He added: “Our country must first have appropriate programs and decisions for economic development for everything (not just the issue of dates), so that in the country’s export affairs we must eliminate the laws and prohibitions that occur overnight;
Because it has always caused a lot of losses to farmers and producers across the country, the government almost overnight imposed bans on the export of dates and pistachios, which caused a lot of losses at that time, and we lost many target markets at once.
