Hot Apple and Cinnamon Drink:
Ingredients: 4 cups of Apple Juice – 1 sweet lime or orange – 2 sticks of cinnamon – cloves and Roman anise are optional.
Separate some of the skin of the orange or sweet lime and add them to the pot. Pay attention to only include the zesty part of the skin, otherwise the drink would become bitter.
Add the Apple juice to the pot.
Add the sticks of cinnamon. Adding the roman anise and cloves will make the drink more exciting. However, it is optional since not everybody enjoy their taste.
Put the Pot on medium heat and let the content boil for 10 to 15 minutes. After that, pour it through a strainer and let it cool. The drink is ready to be served.
Apple, Banana and Cinnamon Smoothie:
Ingredients: 2 Apples – 1 table spoon of cinnamon powder – 1 banana – half a cup of yogurt – half a cup of milk – one quarter cup of almonds.
Set the Banana in the freezer a few hours before making this drink.
Juice the Apples and put them in the blender.
With the order of the ingredients, add them all to the blender and mix until emulsified. Your drink is ready now.
One of the most popular and tasty treats is the Apple pie. The main part of the pie which is the crust, was used in many different ways in the culinary world. Adding vegetables and meat to make different sorts of pies was and still is popular. However, after making its way to the dessert world, most of the world recognized this food as it is today which is a sweet food instead of savory.
Ingredients for Making a Pie Dough:
2 cups of flour – 1 table spoon of salt – 5 table spoons of cold water – 1 egg – milk to measure.
Ingredients for Making the Pie Filling:
One third of a cup of sugar – 3 table spoons of flour – 7 chopped and deiced Apples – one table spoon of cinnamon – one tea spoon of nutmeg – one third of a cup of brown sugar.
Making the Pie Dough:
Mix the ingredients of the pie dough in a bowl and start kneading the dough.
flour a flat surface and flatten your dough to the desired size.
Place the dough in a desired plate and cut off the excess. Place the plate of dough in the fridge to let the dough set.
Making the Pie Filling:
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and thoroughly mix.
Use the excess dough that you cut off from the pie base to create strips to place on top of the filling.
Take the rested dough out of the fridge and pour the filling inside the dough.
Whisk one egg and brush it over the dough strips that were placed on top of the pie.
Set your oven to 200 degree centigrade and place the pie in the oven for 45 minutes. After a golden brown crust and crispy outer layer of the pie filling, your pie is ready.
Hot Apple Dessert:
Ingredients: 4 Apples – 1 tea spoon of cinnamon – 2 table spoons of honey.
This dessert is prepared in the microwave. Place the Apples on a plate and put them in the microwave. Set the intensity to 90% and let the Apples cook all the way.
After 4 to 5 minutes, take out the Apples and cut them to desirable slices and after adding some honey and cinnamon on top, the dessert is ready to be served.
Apple and Banana Smoothie:
Ingredients: 2 cups of cold milk – a medium sized Apple that is peeled and diced – one medium banana – a few cubes of ice.
Put the Apple and banana slices in the blender and pour some of the milk that you have and blend until it is creamy.
While the blender is going, add the rest of the milk until it is frothy.
add the cubes of ice one by one until completely dissolved and puréed. Your smoothie is ready.
Generally, Apples can be consumed in many different ways. Whether they are peeled or not, diced, cooked or baked. Food that has Apple in it, is usually tasty. Apple is a delicious product and in many cultures, in many different fields of our lives, eating Apples is both suggested and encouraged.
